« Excellent location, seafront pitches seem to be more spacious & would definitely return. Shower blocks are new, as they were rebuilt after the wildfire in 2022. All pitches are sunny as all the leaves on the trees have not grown back. The site owners have done their best to rebuild, pool area is very good, but be aware of the extremely steep access to the beach, it is even steeper than the dunes at Pyla. »

« We have stayed here many times in the past and I have to say the recent fires resulting in closure have certainly altered the feel of the place. However it was something one soon got used to. I do want to say though how absolutely wonderful the staff were throughout our stay. From being with us to site our caravan (battery dead and unable to use mover) to responding and helping us when our caravan developed cracks in the panoramic window. The assistance they gave us was absolutely first class and please thank all the team there for their sterling efforts. In addition the receptionists, the bar staff and staff in general were welcoming, friendly and thoroughly professional. Thank you so much for making our holiday with you a quite wonderful stay. »

« Overall it was good. A couple points to make- we think the access to the beach should be made clearer on the website. It would be impossible to anyone who isn’t totally fit and able, we struggled. We bought SUP boards that we couldn’t use as we couldn’t access the beach with ease. The pitches could do with better dressing. When we arrived the pitch was totally unsuitable to put our awning onto, large stones, loose branches etc we could have done with a rake to clear it before we set up, debris underneath meant the entire stay we were stubbing things in the raised parts of flooring. The facilities were fabulous, showers toilets etc always clean and no need to queue for anything. The different food options from the vans each evening were good too. The view from the bar was INCREDIBLE each night the sunsets were the best I have ever seen. Stunning. The staff were amazing too, they seemed young but were well organised and friendly even when at times there were queues at the bar and things could have got flustered. »

« We had a great location for our pitch and a pretty good view of the sea and dunes. The facilities were really good and considering how large and busy the site was it was very quiet. A nice chilled out vibe overall. My overall score would’ve been higher but I thought it was a shame that people who hadn’t booked a pitch were able to be placed in front of where our pitch was, meaning that our view was blocked and it was tight for parking. It’s a shame that the site as a whole seems happy to park camper vans on every single piece of available space therefore making it very very overcrowded. »

« Great location but pitches too cramped and access to beach can be difficult for less mobile people. Facilities clean, but lack of a fully running bar or restaurant. »

« Great new lodges. Staff friendly as always. We prefer the restaurant area now it serves as a bar for everyone, rather than a more exclusive restaurant. »

« Camp site is new in the middle of a burnt down wooded area ..camping pitches not great quite rough. Sanitary area fabulous and super clean. Very limited food options. Which is suprising and a difference in prices fron the beach bar to pool. side . The staff are lovely . The Campsite had areas of safety concern abandoned tools around the site . Sheer drops easily accessible to toddler. Overall it will probably be up and running properly in a few years . The beach was fabulous along with the dunes a must see. Good camp for a stop over or several days . »
