« The Quality and Size of my pitch was very unsatisfying. I asked for a better site but got the answer that all better places are occupied by spontanious visitors. This is NOT why I reserved and payed in advance! »

« Als Urlauber im Mobilheim waren wir grundsätzlich zufrieden. Die Stellplätze für Camper sind allerdings nicht schön angelegt. Die Grünanlage hat noch viel Potential nach oben. Die Lage zur Düne ist aber einmalig. Dadurch ist leider der Strand sehr beschwerlich erreichbar. Selbst die Treppe ist abenteuerlich. Zum Glück haben wir den Strand Salie Nord für uns entdeckt. Einfach toll, so habe ich mir einen Strand am Atlantik vorgestellt. Das Mobilheim, der Spar waren gut. Das WLAN ist schlecht. Besonders gefallen hat uns das Restaurant. Aussicht, Personal, Essen hervorragend. Hatten einen schönen Urlaub. »

« Im Großen und Ganzen ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Waachhäuswr neu und immer sehr sauber. Leider war das Waschhaus gegenüber unseres Stellplatzes offen gebaut sodass es sehr kalt und windig war im Waschhaus. Es war nicht möglich unter einer Woche Mindestaufenthalt online zu buchen. Das geht nur an der Rezeption. Als Grund wurde genannt, man möchte Plätze für Spontanreisende übrig. Lassen. Esw waren aber sehr viele Stellplätze frei. Deshalb ist es auch nichtmögli das Treueprogramm zu nutzen. Bei Ankunft war die Damen an der Rezeption so freundlich, uns dies manuell füreinen Tag möglich zu machen. Bei Nachbuchung wurde das verweigert mit der Begründung es wäre zuviel Aufwand. Dabei ging das sehr schnell. »

« Wonderful campsite at the southern end of the Dune du Pilat, by now clean and tidy, the frequency of the cleaning times of the sanitary buildings was absolutely adorable compared with before the fire! Everything was always clean and neat and there was toilet paper and a certain order the place had lacked when we were there before (last 2019). The pits are much more even now, we were afraid that it wouldn't be good and too sunny without any trees and as you don't really find an overall-look of the site in pictures somewhere, so it was a bit like an "into the blue"-trip, but we were really surprised and satisfied to find a place really worth returning again and again and again! WLAN is an enormous problem, did not really work, given this and water at the pits plus some more water slides - stuff or larger pool, it would be an absolute 10 out of 10! »

« Beautiful Surrounding. Campsite was good. Some small points of critisisism: like the wash places with to little place for your dirty plates and glasses. Some spots are very sandy, some to stoney. Views ate great. Food and market great, showers some times cold..not possible to reserve a spot. That wasn.t so nice »

« Great view, very clean and the washrooms are cleaned several times a day! Overall a great spot to spend some days and to visit Bordeaux, Dune du Pilat and Archachon! »

« Geen warm water bij afwassen,en naar het strand is een ramp.ene kant slecht met begroeing en andere kant stijl en geen vlonders .was met een kind van 7 beide kanten geen doen.strand maar op een andere plek bezocht »

« Lovely position but pitches are poor quality with some being sand and other rough stone. Needs further development. Toilets good and always clean. Other facilities generally good. »

« It is sad to see that all burned down and vegetation needs time to return. Going down to the beach is ok, going up is not for untrained persons recommendable. Only one Restaurant with long time booking in advance. No shade on the terrace. Our bungalow was one degree in two directions out of balance which was disturbing and gave us the feeling of living on a ramp. We had ants all over and the gardener was making a lot of noise each morning around the pool around 8am. The pool was closed for three days and my wife had no chance at all to go bathing since she is handicapped walking. The staff yet was very nice and helpful, the bungalow was clean and the service was good, too. The SPAR is very well equipped. The way to the dune ist great and the view excellent. The place needs definitely a better infrastructure. »
